Picking a Real Estate agent to sell your home can be tricky. If you’ve lived in Nashville for a long time there’s a good chance you know a number of real estate agents and trying to figure out which one will do the best job can be tough. The good news is I have a shortcut that might be able to help you out. It’s 1 question that will force the agent to clarify exactly why or why not they’ll be the best agent to help you sell your home. Just ask them simply, “What is your plan to find a buyer and make them fall in love with my home” This question forces the agent to explain both what marketing they will be doing to go out into the marketplace to find buyers, and also the sales techniques they’ll be using to help a buyer fall in love with your home. If they can’t answer that questions easily, then the reality is they don’t have a plan and you should find a Real Estate Agent that does.
